Weekly Punt: Week 10

The Weekly Punt is still going strong!! Its been a couple of weeks since I’ve put in an article, but never fear, the Lions got over the Kangaroos over the weekend to keep the streak going! None of the other 7 games took my fancy so had to settle for the 1.17 odds Sporting Bet were offering. This week looks to be a slightly easier round so will be aiming for 1.23 to make up for last week

To kick things off we have an absolute no brainer with the Bulldogs over the Dockers at Etihad. If the dockers get within a bulls roar of the Doggies then well I don’t know a thing about footy! So ill take that 1.05 on offer thank you kinda Sir!

The other dead set cert we seem to have is the Saints over in Sydney. I’ll put my hand up and say that I was one that thought the Saints were going to fall over at some stage over the past 3 weeks sine that brutal clash with the Cats. After a suspect trip to the West they have absolutely smashing highly touted opponents Adelaide and Bulldogs in consecutive weeks so can’t see them having any troubles with a pretty poor Swans side who struggled to get over Melbourne last week. So there’s another 1.13 on offer.

As for our final bet i’d like to wait a couple more days until the line bets come in as I wanna make sure I strengthen the chances as we are only chasing 1.05. If there’s one thing I’ve learnt since gambling is once you start getting greedy it all turns pear shaped. I do fancy the bombers over the TANKING DOCKERS but I’d like to lock away a +24.5 point start on them first. Might even back Geelong to not lose by more then 24 but I never like to back in a game invovling the Tri-Colours. I always think they can smash the opposition!
