From the Northern Stand: R16

In order to be any chance of September glory you need to win in Melbourne against a quality side. This weeks task was St Kilda at Docklands. After a percentage boosting win the previous week and Collingwood’s loss on the eve of this crucial clash we had an opportunity of finishing the round in 4th position one game clear which would assist us in earning an all important double chance.

Crows Forward Line Analysis

FACT: We need the Tip to stay at Crow land for glory in 2009 and beyond.
Kurt Tippet typifies today’s modern footballer. Lean, tall, athletic and a powerful overhead mark. He is a player which a coach can use as the foundation for a solid forward line and team. Surrounding him are various other stars, both young and old. The Crows 2009 Premiership Assault has begun with a 7-0 record over the past 7 weeks. The great West Coast or Geelong that have reigned supreme over the past 5 seasons. So where has all this come from and why are they going to the top?

Weekly Punt: Week 7

Well after last weeks bruising encounter with the Saints i’ll be staying well away from the Cats this round. Last minute omissions of Ablett and Varcoe add to their 6 man casualty list from the game. I’m staying away from the Saints as well even if their injury toll ins’t as bad, there is always a big chance of a letdown after such a huge game.
